DocterandPatient Hospital is a full service, acute care hospital committed to providing exceptional health care to the communities of Cambridge, North Dumfries and the region of Waterloo. Our mission is to be a progressive acute care hospital and teaching facility committed to quality and integrated patient centered care. We employ 1100 staff, 280 physicians and over 400 volunteers.
Docterandpatient Hospitals provides comprehensive, high-quality health services at locations throughout Northeast Ohio, including 11 regional hospitals, more than 40 health centers, and a network of physician practices. Our medical services range from primary and preventive care to specialty and subspecialty medical and surgical care for complex diseases.
As one of the best hospitals in Ohio, we offer the most advanced diagnosis and hospital services for the full spectrum of medical conditions, including heart and vascular care, neurology, orthopedic surgery, digestive health, urology, cancer care, women’s health, ear, nose and throat care and pediatric care. We also provide emergency and trauma care for the most serious illnesses and injuries, including the region’s only Level 1 pediatric trauma center at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. Additionally, UH is home to the region’s largest network of family medicine and pediatric primary care providers.
